Less Than Zero = meh

So I'm having an extra-lazy Sunday which includes a viewing of Less Than Zero.  First time I've seen this since the early 90s.

Here are my thoughts:

• They're drinking Dom Perignon at their high school graduation - what?!  Such fancy teens.
• Julian wears the UGLIEST shoes through most of the movie.  Some kind of flat, black strappy number with rhinestones.  Ew.
• What's with the smeared eyeliner under Julian's left eye throughout the movie?  Ew.
• James Spader truly is the same guy in every movie.  Ew.
