Oh, how I love this song. And, seriously - I need to say "I don't know karate but I know crazy" more often. Well, because it's true.
Note to self: Have Elsie sew me a cape with her new sewing machine (and Bedazzle my initials on it).

Oh, yeah!
I'm watching Saturday Night Fever on television. It doesn't get much better than this...I remember watching this as a kid. Thankfully at the time I didn't understand how sad the story is. I was too smitten with the music and disco dancing (you know - because that's how I rolled in the late 70s). My family used to have the soundtrack (on 8 track, of course) and would listen to it incessantly. Can't tell you how many dance routines that 8 track inspired. Oh, yeah. Nothing like a rump shaking, finger pointing, hair flipping five year old (yikes!).
Watching this reminds me that John Travolta used to be a hunkasaurus rex. Of course, my Travolta of choice will always be Vinnie Barbarino. But now he's nothing like he was in his fox days. What happened? I blame it on Scientology. Xenu steals your hotness. Shame...

George Jones and Jack Daniels
Sometimes classic country and a glass of whiskey are all a girl needs to get by.

I do have a 1/2 birthday coming up..

For anyone who was wondering "What should I get IAH for her 1/2 birthday?" (which is on 2.14, BTW) - here's a hint.
I want a two-pack of "You Can Shave the Baby" dolls. Imagine the hours of entertainment!
I just wish it didn't look like the love child of Carrot Top and Donald Trump...

Baby Wiener
I had quite a surprise when I turned on the television today. The television was on channel TLC when I turned it on. I pressed the "info" button on the remote to see what the show was. The show was called "Baby Wiener". No, I didn't make that up. It's for reals.
Being the mature, sophisticated and classey woman I am I immediately start snickering and guffawing. Is this what programming has gone to - shows about baby genitalia? Really?!
Then I read past the title of the show to discover it's an episode of a series called "Baby Stories" where they chronicle families having babies. So, yeah - I guess that Wiener is the family's last name. Of course, this is still snicker and guffaw-worthy but just not as much.
And the saddest part is that what's most snicker and guffaw-worthy is me. HAR! Ugh...

I couldn't resist
Yes, I know this is a repeat but I couldn't help it.
I can't get it out of my head. Probably because Elsie, Jemmy and I sang it (and danced along) for about 90 minutes today. Yikes...
